Guido Venturini, geboren in Alfonsine, in 1957. Lives and works in Milan. Architect, designer, and recently a dedicated painter. Graduated in architecture in Florence in 1984. He taught at the Domus Academy in Milan and at the Accademia di Brera (design department).
As an industrial designer he had great successes with Stefano Giovannoni with the happy objects under the heading Family follows fiction. Known are the Gino Zucchino and the Firebird. With giovannoni he formed King Kong and launched the Girotondo series at Alessi, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2019 and resulted in a golden limited anniversary edition. The icing on the cake is this 'Super G' lamp; she was only briefly in production. This has made it a highly sought-after collector's item among collectors of design art for years. The timeless sleek shape will enrich almost any interior.
